Crossways International®

Crossways International® is a non-profit ministry whose goal is to foster deeper, more meaningful Christian discipleship by cultivating biblical literacy.

Our teaching materials take people on a journey through the grand sweep of the storyline that runs through the whole of the Bible, and feature hundreds of colorful teaching graphics that make that journey memorable and easy to share with others.

The result is a fresh, life-changing encounter with Jesus the Servant-King, who invites us into the loving, serving community of His Eternal Kingdom. We train clergy, teachers, and evangelists to use these materials all over the world.

Great is Thy Faithfulness... Lord unto me!

I remember some years ago feeling low because of my lack of faith. Those feelings swept over me as worship began. Then the organist struck the chords of the hymn, “Great is Thy Faithfulness”. As I stood with the congregation, those feelings of faithlessness were swept away as we sang "Great is thy faithfulness, o Lord unto me!" Of course I thought to myself---the issue is God's faithfulness, not mine! The hymn is based on Lamentations 3:22-23---The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness (NRSV).

As we serve our Lord through serving others, we need constant reminders that the issue here is always faith in the goodness and faithfulness of God. We don't rely on our strengths – we trust the strength of God to sustain and renew us. Like the passage above says, God's blessings are new every morning! This empowers us with hope and resolve to press on to the high calling of God in Christ.
