"We live in troubling times." That's the understatement of the ages! Why are they so troubled? What's the solution? Where is it all going to end? How are we to help people deal with their fears and misgivings?

We at Crossways International (CI) continue to answer: The only hope for the world, the nations, and for each individual is to be found by embracing Jesus the forgiving Messiah in faith, and following Him in servant discipleship. Jesus is, after all, the only viable "peace plan" for time and eternity.

No, we at CI do not pretend to have all the answers. However, we make study tools available that help people to grasp the biblical truths that can make a world of difference in their lives and, in turn, make a difference in the world. These study tools also equip people to share what they have learned with others--family members, friends, fellow workers--you name it!

Although we do not claim that CI's materials are converting the world, we praise God they are being used by impassioned teachers in more than 45 countries. And we rejoice that every year an average of 100,000 new people begin digging deeply and eagerly into the Scriptures using CI's materials as a guide. To date, some 15,000 pastors in South Korea alone have been trained to use our materials, and a substantial number have since taken these materials all around the world in their efforts to teach and evangelize. While people from these far-reaching corners of the globe may learn something from us, we also learn a lot from them--about their hunger to understand the message of Jesus the Messiah.

One of the reasons people from all countries and cultures adopt our materials is because they make use of the largest set of teaching graphics available. Research shows that when people are taught by words alone, their immediate recall is about 70%--but three days later, it is just 10%. However, when people are told and shown information, their immediate recall is 85%--and three days later it is 65%. Aristotle was on target when he said, "The human soul never thinks without an image, never comprehends without a picture."
